Root Domains

We are starting to corrupt a system.  Domains have meaning, but they are to be connected to higher rather than lower.  The builders of UNIX wanted to make the FEWEST at the bottom, not a zoo.  What we are saying is that .xxx is a place to fit into the core tree.  It should really be in  .com because it's purpose is--at least in part--to make money. 

Also, any system can define its own way of handling things.

We must work more with Non-Western Weltanschauungen and see what non-whimsical vector pinnings exist, and should include people who understand the spirit of UNIX or "UNIX Philosophy" before corrupting yet another beautful system.  Seems to me that UNIX people should put on their battle jackets and speak up loudly on this.

If  you can't define the difference between xxx.mil and mil.xxx in terms of purpose, then where are the psycholinguists on staff?  It's how the root domain handles subdomains of their own choosing that's important. 

Seems to me to be a form of psychosis going on.  I would fully agree on .sci but look at sci.xxx vs xxx.sci.

Before we "boldly go into the future" we had better define what kind of future we want  This has huge implications which might not be seen at the moment but have huge implications.
